Together with Effata, the our church assisted in the purchase of a van for Piotr & Ania Osana, Poznan, Poland, for their work of evangelism.
Piotr & Ania Osana pastor the 2nd Baptist Church of Poznan. Piotr used to travel daily into the city with a bag full of heavy Christian books to evangelise on the city streets, hence the desire to get the van. This van was used for many, many years, carrying equipment, new converts, and team members all over Poznan.
Through evangelism, Piotr has taken his church from tens to over a hundred. The church currently funds half his salary. We get regular reports of new advances of the kingdom, working with other churches in that city.

TEEM, The European Evangelical Mission, is run by John & Pauline England and we have been involved with their work, firstly in Belgium and latterly in Romania since the earliest days of the church in 1991.
The current focus is to help build a centre for training young disadvantaged Romanian Gypsies, to help them gain employment and not drift into crime. This is a significant undertaking with an impact beyond measure.
1992
Assistance to Christian Catacutan, pastor in the Philippines, to get a motorcycle for transport to assist his evangelistic ministry.
1994 – 2007
Ukraine Soup Kitchen, powered by BG Gustafsson, was launched in December of this year. The aim was to feed the hungry people in neglected West Ukraine, in the city of Lviv.
By October 1996, more than 35,000 hot meals had been served from this small kitchen. This was around 60,000 meals by early 2001, when the government began social payments, which fortunately reduced the need for the soup kitchen. The kitchen closed in 2004 because there was no more need – the best reason to stop a work.
This has been the church’s biggest and most effective mission effort so far. In the end, over 1,000 souls had been touched and won for the Kingdom all due to the commitment of the members of the church and the sacrifice of BG Gustafsson. Extra support was pledged to help a local Deaf School at Zovka for a period of 3 years. This ended when BG finally retired back to Sweden in 2007, after 13 years in the Ukraine.

Matt & Janet Dawson were members for just a year. In that time, the Lord worked in their lives and, upon their return to the US, He called them to the Mission field with Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Their first appointment was to the Ivory Coast, but after the civil war, they were moved to a new post in Valence, France, where Matt serves as the Director for Wycliffe in France. 2012 will be their final year as the organisation will return them to the USA, having ended their mission tour.

Kurasini Church, Tanzania, is in the city of Dar es Salaam, where there are many mosques. The church met in a garage – a little hot for that climate. With the help of Oasis and other donors, they now have a church in which to worship the Lord.
Our support has, on the request of Jackson, now moved into training instead of bricks & mortar. The church now finances a student at Bible College for a period of 3 years and each year we start a new candidate on the 3-year course. So far we have 2 qualified pastors and others in the pipeline.
Each pastor, in an average lifetime, plants in the order of 34 churches … exciting and effective support.
