I’ve lived in Luxembourg and (now) Germany since 1999, my languages (German and French) are at a point where I can listen to the radio and understand a good chunk of what is being said, but I still find myself longing for Christian radio stations in English.
I decided earlier this year to get my home up-to-date with the latest technology, after having used CDs for the last “I don’t know how many” years! So now we have a central server for storing all our music and photos – probably years behind the rest of you I know, which doesn’t say much for an IT Manager 😉
We also bought an Internet Radio for our kitchen and have it on as background music during the day; and not wanting to flood our house with secular music, I decided to find some Christian radio stations.
We used to travel to Florida quite a lot for our holidays and listened to some Christian radio stations out there, so I was pleased when I could also find them over the Internet! Of course, you don’t need an Internet Radio to listen to these stations; you can listen to them on any Internet capable device, like your home PC, Wi-Fi connected media player, and most smartphones.
Here are a couple that I like listening to:
Mainly contemporary Christian music and likes to play mostly rock style music like Casting Crowns.
